Snow Day!

Hi to everyone! So Chloe and I decided to tackle flying this weekend. She told me she wanted to see where her Daddy works. I figured my odds were better at flying with an infant than trying to drive five hours with said infant and two dogs. Our fabulous neighbor, Lee, agreed to keep watch over the doggies, so off Chloe and I went.
Everything went really well: we got through security just fine, got a seat just fine, she drank a bottle right before take off, and slept the short 45 minute flight. Big T and Juju picked us up bright and early at 8am from the Nashville airport. Uncle Clint came down and visited us, and we had heard reports of snow, but thought, "naaaaaah."
Well, imagine our surprise this Sunday morning when we woke up to 8--yes, 8--inches of snow! Big, huge white flakes started falling about 9:30 Saturday night, and we woke up to a Winter Wonderland! Needless to say, our flight was cancelled, and the roads were too tricky for Big T to drive us home, so we decided to take Chloe outside for a bit and enjoy the snow. Below are the pictures from her adventure.
Hope all of you who live in TN and GA that got snow enjoyed the pretty scene as much as we did!

And so it begins....
Playing with Big T and Juju before we go out to play...
Snuggling with Big T and Juju outside, and this was after the temperature was above freezing!

Look at all that snow!

Can we have hot chocolate now?

Sounds like things went well. I'm glad you and Chloe got to spend a little more time with Big T and Juju. We got a little snow...Emma was not impressed. Maybe next year Chloe and Emma can romp in the white stuff together. :)
